**_Milkbar at Home_**, located in the brand-new Home Apartments in Docklands, is seeking a Cafe Supervisor to lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

**About Us**:
Milkbar at Home is a modern café that prides itself on consistency and delivering a high standard of service. We offer specialty coffee, fresh pastries, toasties, and a full kitchen menu. As an extension of the **_Home Apartments_**, we provide more than just a café experience. Our services include events, catering, and unique experiences such as cocktail nights and dinner services for the residents. While our offerings are aimed primarily at the tenants, they are not limited to them—we also serve a busy weekday takeaway crowd from the surrounding Docklands area.

**Your Role**:
As Café Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Milkbar at Home. You’ll ensure that our high standards of service, quality, and consistency are maintained, while fostering a positive and dynamic team culture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the café team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food and beverages, ensuring consistent quality
- Assist with training and developing staff, providing guidance and feedback to help them reach their potential
- Help coordinate and oversee special events such as catered dinners, cocktail nights, and tenant-exclusive functions
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly to maintain a positive atmosphere
- Contribute to the café’s growth by assisting with marketing initiatives, menu development, and promotional events

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a café or hospitality setting.
- A strong understanding of café operations, including barista skills, food preparation, and team management.
- A commitment to delivering a higher class of service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings, as required for events and functions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.80 - $58.50 per hour
