We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced **Quality, Safeguarding and Practice Partner - Children’s Services **to** **support Aruma’s service management teams to manage risks, achieve accreditation and meet quality management objectives.
Reporting to the Quality, Safeguarding and Practice Excellence Manager this role will support quality of practice and drive standards of care across all service areas in alignment with evidence-based research, ethics, and regulatory compliance requirements in safeguarding.
**About the role**
- Coordinate and deliver organisational practice development initiatives in evidence-based practices as per relevant area of specialisation. (e.g., PCAS, Positive Behaviour Support, Customer Communication, Trauma Informed Support etc.).
- Provide advice and information to relevant internal stakeholders on all areas of practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to systems and practices.
- Review and update practice processes where required to maintain currency of standards and internal changes.
- Identify skills and knowledge gaps within the operational environment in relation to the NDIS Practice Standards and other applicable Standards and Quality Frameworks.
**About you**
- Tertiary level qualification in Allied Health Services, Health Sciences, Human Services, Management, or relevant field, and/or a minimum 5 years’ experience in disability or related sector.
- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Practice Standards and NDIS funding model and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in service delivery, quality management, governance, risk and safeguarding in the community services sector.
- Experience developing and implementing business plans and strategies within a large complex organisation.
- Well-developed computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point; SharePoint, Office 365, including the capacity to learn new systems.
- A current Australian driver’s license, regular travel to services in local area required.
