This has to be the sweetest role ever Captain’s Candy is growing very quickly which means we need to expand our already incredible team.

We’re searching for an energetic, bubbly, confident and charismatic team member who is passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Retail experience is preferred however not a deal breaker for the right person. We are looking for a superstar who loves engaging with customers and also isn’t afraid to work with us to build our social media brand awareness and engagement (yes. that may involve the latest Tik Tok dance moves or challenging yourself with our most sour candy or hot sauce just for fun). As a member of the Customer Service Team, you will primarily be responsible for all point-of-sale duties and providing exceptional customer service. You may also be called on to assist rotating stock, help with store presentation as well as other tasks from time to time.

Shifts may be allocated at both our Ashmore and Burleigh Heads location, so reliable transportation is necessary as is weekend availability as we are open 7 days a week.

**Requirements**:

- **Communication skills**: The ability to communicate well, welcoming customers, helping them find products that meet their needs.
- **Point of sale duties**:Processing cash and EFTPOS sales
- **Social media knowledge**: Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- **Content creation**: The ability to create and participate in engaging content.
- **Attention to detail**: The ability to pay close attention to detail.
- **Adaptability**: The ability to learn quickly and adapt techniques to meet requirements
- **Teamwork**: The ability to work well with others
- **Pro-Active**:The maturity to seek out tasks to be completed during quieter register times.

This role is casual with shifts to be scheduled between 8:30am and 5:15pm.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.23 - $38.61 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
