**About the role**

We are seeking passionate and visionary design educators to inspire and guide the next generation of Design students. This is a temporary part-time role until May 2026 with a possibility of extension, requiring 7 hours per week at Kingscliff Campus.

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students.

**About You**

To excel in this position, you will have a strong passion for sharing your extensive industry design experience. You’ll collaborate closely with the Media and Entertainment team and demonstrate ambition, drive, and mentoring skills. Additionally, experience in delivering training, including online environments, is essential.

To be successful in the role you will:

- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly Regarded:

- A Bachelor of Design and/or a Diploma or above in a related Design industry.
- Skills in 3D such as Interior Design or Packaging Design OR Skills and Knowledge in motion and/or website design
- Demonstrated expertise in the following: Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
