Penny Coffee Co is looking for casual baristas and floor staff to join our awesome team. We're a fifty seat venue focusing on specialty coffee, fine food and great service open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch. We're open on weekends, so weekend availability is a necessity. We're located close to public transport, pay excellently and have a great workplace culture.

We run a small, fresh and locally sourced menu and a coffee selection featuring rotating roasters, multiple espresso, batch brew, aeropress and pour over options.

At Penny, we work hard, are proud of what we produce and have fun doing it.

=== Baristas will: ===
- Work with new single origin coffees from a variety of roasters rotating frequently
- Dial in and set up new coffees, adjusting for strength, extraction, acidity, body and sweetness
- Produce filter coffee ranging from Aeropress and V60 to batch and cold brew
- Serve an offering of 5 espresso options daily, producing consistently excellent latte art and cup quality
- Work in a tight knit team on excellent equipment to produce great brews
- Pride themselves in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Be available on weekends

- Greet and receive customers
- Wait and run food and beverages
- Communicate excellently with team members and customers
- Develop deep knowledge in regards to specialty coffee and the food offering
- Pride themselves in maintaining a clean and safe restaurant
- Resolve customers problems elegantly and efficiently in concert with other team members
- Be available on weekends

Successful applicants for the position will possess a passion for coffee and hospitality as well as confidence and excellent personal presentation. Experience in section waiting, sequence of service, specialty coffee will be well regarded.
