**The Company**

An fast growing insurance company which is part of a global wider business.

**The Role**

This Head of Finance will provide strategic decision support to the CEO and all business unit stakeholders. You will drive commerciality of the operations of the business and will be a key contact for all finance related issues. The Head of Finance will be responsible for process improvement and cost optimisation whilst identifying growth opportunities for further expansion.
- Embed strong financial controls and processes over the P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow.
- Timely and accurate analysis and reporting to the business
- Ensure AFSL compliance and accurate and timely reporting to ATO and ASIC
- Effective and accurate assessment of risk vs commercial gain of any given business opportunity.
- Ensure any risk is mitigated with a 'no surprises' ethos regarding significant P&L or Balance Sheet adjustments.
- Successful integration of acquisitions into the business
- Successful stakeholder relationship management
- M&A due diligence of likely target businesses and working closely with the M&A team providing inputs on various modelling and analysis
- Driving the annual budgeting process, forecasting financial performance, and providing recommendations for informed decision-making.
- Playing a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system.
- Revaluation of investments
- Manage the audit engagement as well as key interfaces with audit partner & manager
- Provide tax advice/planning on ad hoc tax issues to internal stakeholders as well as the Board (and engage with Advisors where required)

- Senior in the finance space (ideally with financial services experience)
- M&A accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
