Your Role

To provide meaningful, insightful, high quality and timely actuarial advice to the SME management teams, Actuarial executives and their key customers in the Australia and New Zealand (A&NZ) businesses.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Enhance data analytics strategies and techniques incorporated into analysis.

Collaborate with business stakeholders in identifying opportunities to improve pricing and underwriting process.

Manage development, implementation and enhancement of technical rating models including communication of recommendations with Product Managers.

Utilise Radar for scenario testing and impact analysis.

Undertake detailed analytics and preparation of analysis for Portfolio Reviews of the SME portfolio for Senior Actuaries and Product Managers.

Building/updating of rates and rating structures for selected Products.

Provide technical input into the development of portfolio management dashboards to enable enhanced monitoring and management of the business.

Support ad-hoc business intelligence and other strategic initiatives

Undertake analysis and modelling to assist Senior Actuaries in production of the Annual Business Plan Loss Ratios.

**Qualifications**:
Your Skills & Experience

Strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail and problem solving ability.

Ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines and manage staff.

Ability to work with key stakeholders on IT projects.

Experience with RADAR, Python, SQL highly desirable.

Minimum 5 years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry.
