Warrigal Home services provides customised services to support and assist our customers to independently remain in their own homes.
Our customers are based across the Queanbeyan region.
**Your new role**:
If you are passionate about what you do and want to support older people to have great lives and stay in their homes, then this is the job for you
As a key member of a caring and supportive team, you will make a difference in the lives of our customers, ensuring their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. This may include activities such as cleaning, cooking, transport, personal care, social outings and shopping depending on the customers needs.
**Benefits for you**
- Flexible rosters. We can offer hours between 9am - 3pm to cater for parents returning to the workforce who want to work school hours
- Paid travel between client visits, mileage allowance, plus penalties
- Shifts available from Monday to Sunday between 7am - 7pm
- Ongoing support and development
- Infection control training and PPE provided to keep you and our customers safe.

**What you will need**:

- An empathy and commitment to the care of older people.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
- Current First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
- Current Drivers Licence with a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
