We own and promote Australia’s biggest and best automotive festivals and events, including the iconic Summernats Car Festival and the National Drag Racing Championship and are the publishers of the legendary Street Machine magazine in digital and print.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, fun, organised and motivated bookkeeper to join us.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is a permanent part time administrative and bookkeeping position working with the Out There Group of companies 20 to 30 hours a week (negotiable). Based in Kingsliff NSW 2487 and with flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities this is a great opportunity to work with a friendly team of dedicated professionals in a business that is an industry leader.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

The role will require you to liaise closely with our Chief Operations Officer and General Manager to ensure a seamless operation of our bookkeeping and accounts. You will be responsible for:

- Reconciliation of bank accounts for the multiple entities within the group
- Efficiently managing and processing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and keeping financial records up to date
- Preparation of sales and purchase invoices
- Manage and process credit card expenses and staff expense claims
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with BAS and IAS preparation
- Assist with payroll preparation
- Assist with payroll tax preparation
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
- Provide support to the external finance team by contributing to ad hoc financial reporting and data analysis as required
- Any other bookkeeping related reconciliations as required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Must have a sense of humour and enjoy being part of a team
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
- Must be a team player, able to support and work collaboratively
- Previous experience with XERO accounting software
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Collaborative interpersonal skills
- Highly developed organisational skills ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Possess a positive "can do'' solutions approach.
