The Role

Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced direct from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.

We have a unique opportunity for an Inventory Co-ordinator with a passion for finance, and data, to join our team on a 6-month, fixed term basis. As the Inventory Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the site’s reporting, including cost, budgeting, waste, and inventory seeking opportunities to drive positive change.

This role plays a pivotal part in meeting Bega’s goals in Greater Good’s vision, where we commit to look after each other and to care for our environment in any action we are taking.

**Responsibilities**:
- Generating weekly and monthly KPI reports, on spending, budget, forecasting, quality, and wastage through SAP- Overseeing the daily, weekly, and monthly site results of loss and waste, and supporting the leadership team with implementing initiatives for wastage reduction and cost savings- Understand the P&L for the site and provide commentary around this for the site. Build business acumen of team members.- Inventory management or finished goods and Ingredients and Packaging- Ensure accurate invoicing and raising Purchase Orders via SAP

About you- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, engineering, or another analytical field- You enjoy extracting data and sharing valuable insights with others- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Suite, SAP, and SharePoint- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders- Have a continuous improvement mindset being able to convert data into opportunities for improvement
