**The Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic School Librarian to join our supportive team at our Islamic Northwestern Sydney school

Maintaining and updating library systems; is the ideal role for someone passionate about student learning and who is looking for a role to truly build their career in.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cataloging, Ordering, and Processing library materials
- Supporting teachers and students through finding relevant reading materials for students and
- Providing photocopying and print support to faculty and students
- Encouraging a love of reading through your own reading and knowledge of Young Adult Literature and Classics
- Commit to the safeguarding and promotion of student welfare
- Experience working within libraries within a similar institutional setting
- Librarian qualifications recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association for Associate membership
- Qualifications in teaching (along with NESA registration) are desirable but not necessary for success in this role
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Clear and personable communication manner - both verbal and written

**Please Note**:A valid Working with Children’s Check will be required for success in this role.
