**The Opportunity**:The Machine Analyst works in collaboration with Komatsu Service teams and our customers to improve product reliability and performance, demonstrates new and innovative ways to manage and maintain our equipment and better understand the customers’ needs to support our customers business drivers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conducts performance assessments daily on a subscribed number of machines and provides actionable information.
- Regular contact with Komatsu Service and Customer Teams to communicate product performance issues and how they can be resolved.
- Monitors the recommendations and actions provided to ensure they are completed.
- Conducts ad-hoc analysis on equipment by request.
- Documents all interactions and assigns a value.
- Evaluate our overall service performance on a regular basis to ensure that the service support is delivering against targets with a view to being recognised as ‘best in class’
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers to promote Smart Solutions capability and offer support to both Komatsu Service teams and our customer to improve product performance.
- Instil a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of service work
- Provides training on SmartCare analytics tools to Komatsu Service and Customer Personnel.

**What we are looking for**:
- Trade and/or Engineering qualification
- 5+ years technical experience with Komatsu Mining Equipment
- 5+ years of managing product performance on customer site
- Critical thinking, data analysis and report writing skills
