Spa Receptionist

**Shangri-La Sydney is looking for** skilled and experienced Spa receptionist to join our Chi Spa team.**

**About Us**

Shangri-La Sydney is situated in the heart of the historic Rocks district. With 564 guest rooms and suites, a luxurious Chi Spa, 4 food and beverage outlets and 18 conference and meeting rooms, this Deluxe 5-star hotel is tailored towards both the corporate and leisure guest.

**About the Role**

The Receptionist provides guests with a warm, friendly and efficient impression of the Chi Spa and performs all the operational functions of the Spa Reception and Reservations Counter.
- To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments.
- Ensure that all clients are handled in a professional and efficient standard of excellence.
- To contribute to a high level of external and internal customer relations by displaying prompt and courteous service.
- As assigned and at all opportunities, assists guest directly and indirectly in order to resolve problems and provide them a delightful staying experience in the hotel.
- Provide accurate information about the facilities, services and special events available.
- Respond to all telephone calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- To monitor and control all retail stocks and report any supplies for re-order to storekeeper-in-charge on a regular basis.
- To be responsibly aware of current hotel and Chi promotions, packages and events.
- To inform the security department of any matter or incident that may be detrimental to the employees and their well-being.
- Assist in any other tasks as specified by the CHI Spa Manager.
- Ensure general tidiness of the Spa and Health club area

**About You**
- Passion to deliver exceptional customer service
- Have a can do attitude and be willing to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written.
- Previously worked as a spa receptionist or similar
- Be available to a work a in a rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays.
- Rights to work in Australia
