**The** Company**

Murdock Viticulture & Advisory is a boutique company, specialising in premium vineyard development and management. Murdock Viticulture currently manages agricultural assets throughout South Australia.

This position is a hands on roll based on 56 ha vineyard, and provides an opportunity to grow quality premium wine grapes for a well-established icon brand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all cultivation activities as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Implement, monitor and report on pest and disease management, spray, weedicide, fertiliser and pruning programs.
- Monitor systems and co-ordinate repairs and maintenance of the trellis / irrigation system
- Provide input into project cost-analysis and budget preparation. Co-ordinate and supervise staff and ensure quality assurance.
- Accurately provide written work plans, as directed by the Manager.
- Actively report on HSE, and comply with all requirements

**Selection Criteria Essential**:

- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience, in vineyard management and operations
- Sound working knowledge of machine operation technology as well as hands on vineyard procedures
- Tertiary Education / Equivalent Experience advantageous
- Drivers / Chemcert Licenses
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
