About Logan City Special School
Logan City Special School is a P-12 school catering for students with intellectual and other disabilities. We cater for students who require significant adaptations to access learning through a high level of individualised programming by specialist teachers.
About the Role
The Business Manager leads the office team and works closely with the Deputy Principals and Principal to ensure financial and human resourcing is efficient, targeted and in-line with school improvement priorities, experience in the disability sector is not required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrate considerable autonomy and play an important role in providing advice which dictates business service delivery outcomes, inspires change and models best practice. Manage conflicting priorities to ensure strategic and sustainable business services outcomes.
- Work in a specialised environment, requiring the development of operational methods, policies, practices and standards to support the school's administrative function, and where problem resolution is frequent.
- Lead and manage human resources for school support staff.
- Manage, monitor and deliver financial processes.
- Lead the management, building and maintenance of school facilities and resources for Direct to Market schools, and project manage as required.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
