**Join our team as a Laundry Attendant and play a vital role in keeping our community looking fresh and clean.** As a Laundry Attendant atSnowflake Laundry and Linen Services, you'll be responsible for operating commercial-grade washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment to process large batches of laundry efficiently. Your attention to detail will ensure that all laundry is clean, pressed, and neatly folded.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
**Laundry Operations**:

- Wash large batches of laundry using commercial-grade washing machines.
- Operate dryers to ensure clothes are thoroughly dried.
- Operate ironing machines to press and finish laundry to a high standard.
- Fold laundry neatly and efficiently.

**Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Maintenance and Reporting**:

- Coordinate with supervisors to report any issues related to machines or equipment.
- Submit necessary incident reports as required.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- A valid driver's license with a clean record and a current National Police Check.
- Full-time working rights (no student visa holders).
- The physical ability to lift and handle heavy laundry loads and other items.
- A punctual, reliable, and customer-service oriented attitude.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in delivery or laundry work is a bonus, but not essential.

**What We Offer**:

- **Competitive pay rate**: $28 - $33 per hour plus superannuation (plus penalty rates for overtime and public holidays when applicable).
- **Location**:This position is based in Collingwood.

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:
