**Position Title: Homework Marking & Homework Help Tutor**

Location: Australia ABC College - Cabramatta, NSW

Employment Type: Casual / Part-Time

We specialise in Maths, English, Thinking Skills, and exam preparation for OC, Selective, and HSC. With qualified teachers, proven strategies, and a supportive environment, we help students build strong foundations and achieve academic excellence.

**Position Overview**

Do you consider yourself an upbeat person or a go-getter? We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Homework Marking & Homework Help Tutors. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with students, are passionate about education, and take pride in delivering accurate and constructive feedback.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist students with difficult questions or concepts during Homework Help sessions
- Monitor student progress and flag areas for improvement to supervising staff
- Support a calm, focused, and respectful learning environment

**Shifts available**
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 5:45 PM - 8:45 PM
- Saturday, Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (lunch provided)

**Requirements**:

- Completed or currently studying a degree in Education, Teaching, or a related field in Australia.
- Strong academic results in English and Maths (HSC level or equivalent).
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and consistency in marking.
- Diligent, punctual, and reliable in all responsibilities.
- A genuine passion for helping students improve.
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check (for paid employment)**.**

**Preferred**
- Previous tutoring, marking, or educational support experience
- Familiarity with OC, Selective School, or NAPLAN-style content and assessment
- Confidence in explaining concepts to primary school students
