**The Opportunity**

As the cleaner you will:

- Undertake general cleaning of retail spaces, including restrooms, vacuuming, mopping, glass cleaning, and dusting, as per the scheduled work plan.
- Perform detailed cleaning of retail areas, including washrooms.
- Collect waste from designated areas.
- Spot cleaning, which includes mopping and sweeping.
- Maintain cleaning standards per contractual requirements.
- Focus on safety and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WH&S) policies and procedures.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals while ensuring safe work practices are followed.
- Proactively manage client expectations.

**Skills and Experience**

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous commercial cleaning experience (essential)
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable transport
- A pleasant and welcoming personality with a high standard of personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally.
- A proven eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills
- A great ability to work both autonomously and be part of the team
- A national criminal history check is required for this role (no more than three months old)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $31.21 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
