**About the opportunity**:
We are currently looking for a Maintenance fitter to work at our Clayton, Melbourne manufacturing site. As an integral member of the Clayton maintenance team, the Shift Maintenance Fitter will make a strong contribution to a high performing Operations team and team culture within our Clayton Manufacturing Site.
You will provide high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable production levels and a high standard in engineering support.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
- Carry out service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility, Prioritise all types of given work
- Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment
- Participate in all training as required by the company
- Effective reporting of any issues relating to company SH&E & QA policies
- Point of contact when attending a breakdown
**Experience required**:
- Mechanical trade certificate
- High level of technical and diagnostic skills
- Processed based risk assessment skills
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
