This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at The Growers as a Store Manager. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new grocery store located in Sylvania, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the fresh food departments of our bustling supermarket, ensuring top-quality produce and exceptional customer service.

**What you'll be doing**

1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the whole store

2. Ensure optimal stock levels, freshness, and presentation of all fresh food items

3. Supervise and train a team of fresh food specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment

4. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability

5. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable pricing and maintain a reliable supply chain

6. Identify and capitalise on market trends and customer preferences to enhance the fresh food offering

7. Monitor and maintain strict compliance with food safety and quality standards

8. Contribute to the overall success of the store by supporting the management team and collaborating across departments

9. Assisting with the recruitment, training, development and rostering of in-store personne

**What we're looking for**

1. Extensive experience (2+ years) in a fresh food management role, preferably within the retail or supermarket industry

2. Strong knowledge of fresh food categories, including produce, perishable and grocery

3. Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team

4. Keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

5. Proficiency in inventory management and cost control

6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

7. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
