Gardener

**GARDENER**

Balmoral Village is seeking an experienced and dedicated Gardener to join our team in Wantirna South, Victoria. As a Gardener, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the beautiful landscaping and gardens throughout our vibrant community whilst receiving a thorough handover before eventually taking over the Grounds and Garden Supervisor role. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week), offering the opportunity to work in a tranquil and rewarding environment.

**What you'll be doing**
- Performing a variety of gardening and landscaping tasks, including pruning, weeding, digging, edging, hedging (including at heights), spraying, planting, mulching, green waste removal and some mowing
- Ensuring the gardens, grounds and green spaces are well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing at all times
- Undertaking residents' garden requests
- Working with the gardening team to contribute to the overall maintenance and improvement of the property

**What we're looking for**
- Solid working experience in a similar gardening or landscaping role
- Sound knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques
- Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens highly regarded
- Ability to operate a range of gardening equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for maintaining high standards
- Ability to communicate with and relate to an older population
- Positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
