MyFirstGym is a one-stop fitness shop for children from 7 months right through to 15 years. We deliver outcome-based programs and inspire kids to fall in love with movement and fitness.

Our development programs are designed to improve children's physical literacy, while our specialty programs are designed to focus on specific sports. Our specialty programs include Martial Arts, Ninja Warrior, Dance, Gymnastics, Cheer, Parkour, Boxing and MFG Fit.

MyFirstGym Coaches are not just coaches, they are mentors, friends and role models who are passionate about working with children.

**About the Coaching Role**

The role of a MyFirstGym Coach is to inspire children to love movement and fitness and help them progress from class to class. We are looking for coaches and party hosts to add to our Springfield and Redbank Plains team.

We have classes across our timetable morning and afternoon, 7 days per week. Our coaches also assist with events, birthday parties and assist with admin duties.
- **Martial Arts Coach**:

- **Gymnastics Coach**:

- **Fitness and Ninja coach for children aged 5-15 years**:

- **Birthday Party Host 1 year - 13 years - Birthday parties are held on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.**

**Skills and experience**
- Experience working with children
- Hold a current working with children's check **(Essential)**:

- First Aid Certificate
- Martial Arts instuctor/Assistant **(Martial Arts experience essential)**:

- Gymnastics Accrediatation **(Beginner or higher)**:

- Current certification in Children's Services (ideal but not essential)
- Fitness qualification (ideal but not essential)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to redirect and think quick on your toes

**Salary**: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Every weekend
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Springfield QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
