About This Opportunity
This position is responsible for cleaning services for Customs House. The role is generally 5:00am to 8:00am including weekends
Key responsibilities will include:
- To be acquainted with all aspects of general cleaning in accordance with the Customs House policies and procedures.- To clean assigned areas within Customs House according to the manner and schedule determined by the Operations Manager.- Ensure that general waste and recyclable wastes are appropriately disposed of.- Monitor chemicals and cleaning supplies to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained.- Store cleaning supplies and equipment in the assigned places and ensure stores and equipment are kept clean and tidy.Code of Conduct
About You- Completion of year 10 qualification,- Demonstrated ability to work with routine supervision and to efficiently and effectively complete all tasks in their assigned area.- Previous experience as a cleaner is essential, and experience working in hospitality venues is highly advantageous.- Experience cleaning hospitality venues.- Well-developed communication skills.- The ability to work within a team structure as well as work with minimum supervision and to organise the work efficiently and effectively under their jurisdiction to meet the required deadlines.- Must be highly self-motivated, proactive, possess initiative, be well organised and possess a strong work ethic.- Some knowledge of materials e.g. Cleaning chemicals and equipment would be advantageous.
What We Can Offer
This is a casual position at HEW Level 1. The hourly rate will be $35.11 including casual loading plus super.
