**About the role**: The role involves extensive collaboration with internal Victoria Police stakeholders, including Human Resource Command, Road Policing Command and regional police stations. The position duties include the delivery of classroom based informational sessions covering all aspects of probationary constable deployment. The Deployment Manager is also responsible for the compilation of complex deployment plans, notices and statistical data to support informed decision making by management and the Senior Leadership group. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements. **Your duties will include**: - Managing and planning the Probationary Constable member deployments including field placements during the Foundation Training Program and post-graduation deployments - Managing all administrative documentation relating to deployments - Close consultation with relevant internal stakeholders regarding the deployment process - Providing and reporting on statistics relating to post-graduation deployment of probationary constables to Dedicated Training Workplaces (DTW) - Facilitation and delivery of classroom information sessions to recruits regarding the deployment process and allocation of permanent training stations - Assisting Personnel Placement Branch to allocate Probationary Constables to permanent training workplaces - Oversight and intrusive management of the PCET Program Country waitlist in conjunction with Personnel Placement matching PCs to country vacancies **About You**: - Demonstrated strength in planning, scheduling and task co-ordination, with the ability to set goals and to manage competing priorities - Proven capability in written communication and building effective working relationships - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work confidently under pressure and to tight timeframes - Highly developed computer skills with particular focus on advanced MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook - Proven ability to evaluate stakeholder and client satisfaction, proactively address concerns, and facilitate constructive resolutions that meet the needs of all parties and align with unit objectives **Further Information**: - One (1) x full-time, fixed term position until 17/09/2027. - This position is located at the Victoria Police Academy, View Mount Road, Glen Waverley. - Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. - We expect our people to foster a safe and inclusive environment where their behaviour and attitude reflects, builds upon and promotes a positive and collaborative workplace that respects the culture and values of Victoria Police. - **Resume**: **Applications close midnight, Thursday 6 November 2025.** **About Us**: Victoria Police has a dedicated workforce of more than 22,000 employees consisting of police, protective services officers, police custody officers, and public service staff.
