**The Company**

This rapidly growing and highly innovative food company is looking for a strong Warehouse Operations Manager to overlook their Melbourne facility. Based at their leading site and overlooking a cold storage 3PL site, they are looking for a strong leader to come in and drive their operation.

**The Role**

Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include but wont be limited to:

- Leadership and execution of all day-to-day operational responsibilities of warehouse.
- Warehouse transformation, turning their main facility into their national distribution centre.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring the warehouse is a productive, positive and safe operating environment for all staff.
- Ensure safety culture, manage the financial budgets and drive team performance via KPIs.
- Provide leadership to ensure a genuine collaboration and team spirit, mínimal absenteeism and an ability to negotiate positive outcomes with external parties, including union and OHS representatives.
- Create and execute logístical optimisation and transformation projects across their distribution and transport network.
- Overlook daily operational insights from 3PL warehouse (cold storage)

**Your Background**

To be successful in this role you will need to:

- Be a strong operational leader, 4+ years experience in a similar leadership position.
- FMCG background desired but not essential.
- Natural leader who has developed good operational practises and has the ability to be assertive when running a warehouse.
- You must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on outcomes to improve the distribution process.
- Strong analysis skills coupled with an ability to influence outcomes will also be essential.
- SAP experience desired but not essential.
