QC Comms are leaders in the Telecommunications optical fibre and wireless technology industry with offices located in NSW, QLD, ACT and VIC.

**The role**

Due to the award of a new project, we are currently seeking an experienced and professional store person to join our operations team located at our new office warehouse based in Gregory Hills.

The role will initially be offered as a 6 month fixed term hire, with a likelihood of extension or conversion to perm.

The role involves:

- 40% warehouse based work/60% of your day spent in the field
- Driving the HR truck to our contractor's yard to pick up materials
- Using HI AB Crane to load the HR truck
- Handling bulky items (crates of pipe, conduit, concrete and telco pits)
- Loading, unloading and placement of products from delivery vehicles and trucks
- Operating forklift and pallet jack
- Maintaining the warehouse, keeping it clean and safe

**Your experience**

We are looking for someone who will fit our culture and has a positive and helpful nature. We want you to take pride in your work, be safety conscious, environmentally aware and happy to jump in and help out on any ad hoc tasks that arise.
- 3+ years experience in a logistics/warehouse role
- Forklift licence essential
- Current Open Drivers Licence
- Truck licence preferred (however we will support/pay for you to obtain one of these)
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Experience with receipt / dispatch of goods
- Ability to perform manual handling to a weight you are comfortable with
