Our busy hotel in the heart of Abbotsford needs a dedicated Houseperson/Public Area attendant to support this 63 room property.

We’re on the lookout for a new Houseperson to assist the well-established housekeeping team with preparations and basic maintenance of rooms to ensure guest readiness and satisfaction.

**The Role**

This is a physically demanding role, with preparation of linen services, removal of rubbish and occasional moving furniture for cyclical cleaning. it will also involve providing housekeeping and room attendant services for apartments (studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments) and cleaning common areas to ensure high standards of presentation of the property.

Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeanor, a keen eye for detail, and a strong appreciation for workplace safety. An ability to work autonomously, anticipating team members needs and work quickly and efficiently to achieve goals is key.

Prior experience in a housekeeping support role is highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts - mostly morning shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
