**About the role**
Based at our Sefton site in Sydney, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis to work closely with the National HR Manager in delivering a wide range of services across the business. This a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, compliance, WHS, performance management, employee engagement, separation processes and more. There will be a strong focus on HR-related work and admin.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide support to the National HR Manager on various HR matters, including end-to-end recruitment for various roles across the organisation (3 Divisions).
- Liaise with recruiters for open roles and report back to the National HR Manager on progress.
- Assisting in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects and launch the new employee onboarding and offboarding process.
- Conduct reference checks for new employees and assist with onboarding of new employees.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinating training and development programs.
- Provide updates on legislative changes and employment law.
- Enhance and nurture company culture and values.
- All other tasks as reasonably directed by the manager.
**About you**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Completed tertiary qualification in Human resources or related studies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with executive management and various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong skills in MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Developed leadership & people skills with an ability to influence.
- Successful problem-solving experience and critical thinking abilities, leading to sustainable employee/employer relations.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
