Ekebol is the leading manufacturer of Tilt Tray truck bodies and heavy recovery equipment in Australia, with sales across Australia and export markets. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Truck Fitter with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and auto-electrical systems to join our dynamic team. Ekebol is located in Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast QLD, 1.5 hours north of Brisbane.

**The Role**:
As a truck fitter with Ekebol you will be involved in the installation of new hydraulic and pneumatic systems for our tilt trays, trailers and heavy recovery vehicles. Basic auto electrical skills and knowledge of truck electrical systems is required.

Prior experience in welding and fabrication, mechanical fitter, fitter welder, heavy vehicle manufacturing, vehicle body building industry, automotive and electrical accessory installation or a non-qualified person with proven experience with truck body building or similar is an advantage.

- Able to follow correct procedures
- Able to follow wiring, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams of demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Truck Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic auto-electrical systems.
- Familiarity with heavy vehicle electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Relevant trade qualifications (preferred but not essential).
- A valid driver’s license (preferably with heavy vehicle endorsement).
