Kewdale, Australia Remote Control Technologies Full time

RCT is looking for a dynamic person to join our team in the role of Product Test Technician in our Manufacturing area, based at our Perth office currently located in Kewdale.

Reporting to the Production Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

- Perform a variety of electromechanical and radio tests on electronic and low voltage systems, products and subassemblies to ensure the products function according to specifications and planned production requirements are met.
- Perform setup and configuration tasks to the products to suit customer specifications.
- Monitor the build quality of products being tested
- Design and assemble test units
- Interpret test schedules, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
- Update test procedures
- Assist with electronic assembly, when required

You will need to be a motivated team player that has the ability to take responsibility for everything you do. Quality is the name of the game and focus in this area is paramount. Applicants must have a high level of experience & skills in the following areas:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment
- Electrical assembly work
- Excellent workmanship
- Understand the importance of quality
- Excellent attention to detail with good communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrate competency with radio scanners, oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, multi-meter
- Enthusiastic and motivated with a positive outlook
