**THE ROLE**

An exciting **Safety & Training Coordinator** role reporting to the Operations Manager, with the following duties:

- Establishing a WHS committee and ensuring the effective functioning of site structures
- Assist implementation and ongoing management of site WHS plan
- Injury Management coordination - Return to Work & First Aid reporting
- Conduct and report safety audits to site management
- Implement and oversee Environmental improvement projects
- Facilitate training and education on legislative requirements
- Champion Site Environmental compliance

**WHAT YOU HAVE**
- Proven experience in a WHSE role within the manufacturing industry
- Workplace training and assessment background desirable
- Positive can-do attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for building a strong team culture where safety comes first
- Great inter-personal and communication skills a must to succeed in this role
