Glass Cutter

**The Position**:
Stevens Glass is a manufacturing business located at Dandenong South that has been operating for over 40 years.

We are currently looking for experienced **glass cutters** for the day shift

**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Loading and operating the Intermac and Bottero float cutting tables.
- Cutting and sorting float glass from the auto table.
- Sorting glass to flow into the next department.
- A keen eye for quality, ensuring glass is processed with no damage or defects.
- Daily meetings with supervisors.
- Complying with all Health & Safety procedures and practices.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Glass handling with float glass from 4-12mm
- Experience with automatic glass cutting tables
- Experience in cutting up to 12mm thick glass
- Professional communication skills
- Personal drive, and ability to work unsupervised in a fast paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to details
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to Multitask
- Willingness to learn
