Airtight Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to fill a newly created Internal Sales position located full time in our Melbourne office in Bayswater.
We specialise in the design, sales, supply and installation of dust & fume control products and systems for a variety of industries. We are experiencing significant sales growth and are looking to strengthen our sales team immediately.
This is an newly created role in additional to our existing team, we are a growing business requiring a customer focused person to join a fun working environment. We always offer opportunity of advancement and this is a role that can likely be a stepping stone to on the road sales for the right person.
The role will be general customer service and sales, common product sales will include flexible hoses, ducting parts and dust extraction consumables
Daily tasks will include:
- Assisting customers over the phone by identifying their needs and assisting with product selections
- Answering incoming customer calls and logging leads into Hubspot
- Assist walk in customers by identifying their needs and assisting with product selections
- Liaising with the Warehouse Manager for order delivery and stock availability awareness
Ideally you have:
- Experience in a technical sales environment
- Willingness to learn and help develop others in the team
- Strong customer service philosophy and phone communication
- Average to strong computer skills, experience with MS Office products
- Strong personal drive and willingness to succeed and grow personally and professionally
- Ability to manage changing priorities and good organisational skills
- People with dust control or related product experience preferred highly regarded
- Previous experience as a BDM (Business development manager) highly beneficial

Job specific training will be given and you will be joining an experienced team.
Whilst reporting to our the local State Manager you will be part of a small friendly local team and part of our larger national team.
Your drive, initiative and the ability to work autonomously will be key attributes to help you succeed in this role.
This is a full-time 5 day week position. A career path within our organisation is possible for the right person.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
