As a Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing personal and domestic assistance to clients, both at home and in the neighbourhood. Your responsibilities will include accompanying clients to appointments, assisting with shopping, and supporting them in engaging with social or recreational activities. Additionally, you'll help clients develop essential life skills, fostering their active participation in the local community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Offer companionship and support during social events, recreational activities, and sporting events.
- Facilitate skill development through client-centred, innovative programs encompassing arts & crafts, music, health & fitness.
- Assist clients during mealtimes, help with personal care needs, and administer prescribed medication.
- Education/Experience in Community Services, Community Welfare, Mental Health, Disability, or Nursing Background.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviors.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain.
- Certification in Disability (Certificate III / IV). (Optional)
- Working with Children Check.
- CPR and First Aid certification. (Optional)
- Availability to work in challenging environment.

Pay: $33.96 - $41.76 per hour
