**Role Purpose**:
Cartology is seeking a Salesforce Platform Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Salesforce Platform Manager, you will play a key role in leading a team of developers to design and deliver our Salesforce capabilities to the business. You will be expected to be hands-on and provide technical leadership to the dev team whilst also working closely with the business on roadmaps and functionality.

**What am I accountable for:
**Joining Cartology, you will be integral to define business needs and help the engineering team execute the shared vision. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders across the Cartology and greater Woolworths group.

Some job responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Leading technical design sessions & developing technical solution documentation aligned with the business strategy
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on how best to set up business processes and technical solutions to achieve their goals
- Implementation of solutions in Salesforce and associated packages/products (e.g. Pardot, Advendio etc)
- Guiding the dev team on Salesforce best practices and establishing frameworks for development

**About you:
Essential:
5+ years project experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API
Experience in writing well-structured code using Apex, Triggers, LWC, Aura Components, JavaScript, CSS and HTML using the appropriate features and capabilities of each framework or language.
Experience of using version control software, Git and advanced CI/CD tooling, Scratch Orgs and Sandbox based development.
Experience of integrations with other enterprise systems (ex: Google Cloud Platform) and complex data migrations
Experience with packaged software or custom development implementations of projects
Certified Salesforce Application Architect and/or Salesforce System Architect
Comfortable designing robust data models, enterprise-level architectures and complex integrated solutions that are scalable, maintainable and adaptable to changing business needs

Desirable
Experience in the media industry including digital media is highly desirable.
Experience in retail and e-commerce beneficial.
