**Scope**:
As a Domestic Support Assistant, your role includes assisting clients with their daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment. This position combines homecare duties, such as transporting clients to appointments and running local errands, with cleaning responsibilities, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, disinfection, and outdoor sweeping. Your role will be crucial in supporting clients to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provide daily aspects of care and living to clients
- Perform domestic assistance duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Recognise changes in clients' conditions and escalate observations and concerns
- Promote and participate in quality activities
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients, their relatives, and friends

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is desirable
- Good time management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of community care and high standards of care
- Understanding of client-directed care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Security Check Requirements**:

- Current police clearance certificate (within the last 12 months)
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

**Qualifications and Memberships**:

- Current driver's license and regular access to a vehicle
- Current First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR qualification (within 12 months) or willingness to obtain
- Australian working rights
