Distillery Door Sales Assistant

We are a boutique distillery tucked away on the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales. Our distillery, set amongst three acres of tranquil gardens, is independently owned and operated by astute herbalist and distiller Philip Moore. The botanicals we grow are the inspiration and ingredients for an array of award-winning spirits and liqueurs including Moore’s Dry Gin and Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur.

We’re currently seeking passionate, and charismatic distillery door and sales assistants. The role involves providing exceptional and friendly service and taking valued visitors through our unique tasting experiences along with hosting cocktail / craft your own gin classes and garden tours as well as assistance with off-site events and activations.

Duties include:

- Opening, trading, and closing the distillery door
- Hosting tastings and tours
- Adhering to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation and maintaining the distillery door to be COVID-safe.
- Manage stock take, day-to-day transactions and the cash float.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Off-site events/ Festivals/ Bottle shop tastings
- be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- Exceptional customer service and friendly demeanour
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Sound knowledge of spirits and liqueurs
- Hold a current RSA.
- A valid NSW drivers license
- Access to a car

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and passionate individual, have sound attention to detail and possess a collaborative attitude and friendly character. We pride ourselves on having a dedicated, professional team who love their vocation and their work environment.

Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this role.
