Truck Operator

**NORTHERN GOLDFIELDS EARTHMOVING**

**Position Title - Truck Operator**

Provide truck operations in locations and with the team as directed, and complete works to specification.

**Tasks Include**
- manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
- loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
- observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
- making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
- estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
- ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
- verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtraining certification of deliveries
- drives a heavy truck, requiring a specially endorsed class of licence to transport bulky goods.
- Registration or licensing is required

**Company Requirements & Qualifications and Skills**
- check oil, water, tyres and grease machine daily, blowout aircleaners daily
- keep accurate records as instructed by Supervisor
- able to pass a Full medical examination including a Laboratory Drug and Alcohol test
- National Australian Police Clearance
- comply with all NGE company policies, processes and procedures
- working within applicable controls documented in company Safe Work Method Statement
- wearing and using of personal protective equipment where necessary
- Industry skills and knowledge and experience relevant to the role
- Strong work ethic and to be willing to learn
- Truck Drivers Licence HC/MC
- Fatigue certification
- Fitness to Drive medical
- White card

Full Time position with a Salary range $110,000pa - $120,000

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
