**About You**

New career opportunities exist for Personal Care Assistants that warm, uplifting and friendly personalities that have a passion for older people and want to make a difference to their lives.

Personal Care Assistants are responsible for providing a high standard of support to residents at Royal Freemasons Bendigo Homes. You will be involved in the preparation and service of meals to residents, or/and cleaning of resident’s rooms, or/and providing high quality house services. You must be willing to pick up additional shifts in these areas as required.

You should be highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. If you have proven experience within a residential aged care setting or hospital environment providing care to the elderly, we offer a great team to work with and a supportive working environment.

**Key Requirements**
- Demonstrated reliability and passion for aged care
- Aged Care Certificate III or IV qualification or similar
- Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
- Computer and documentation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Manual Handling and safe lifting practices
- Smart Phone and Home Internet are desirable

**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an **International Police Check** for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

**Mandatory Vaccines **All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
