48 Flavours is a family owned gelateria that produces an upmarket range of artisan gelato using fresh South Australian produce. We are locally and internationally recognised and trusted for our handmade Premium Award-winning flavour range.

A rare opportunity now exists to become a **Gelato Maker / Kitchen Hand** to join our team of gelato chefs. Applicants do not need any previous experience in gelato making. What we need is someone with energy, personality and looking for a long term career.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Efficiently produce high volumes of gelato daily, via the execution of 48 Flavours specific recipes and production methods.
- Maintain and clean gelato equipment to 48 Flavours high standards.
- Assist the kitchen with gelato preparations.
- Maintain Food Safety and OH&S procedures and practices.
- Cleaning as required.
- Assist with deliveries, warehouse duties.
- Help front of house service if needed.

**Requirements for the Role**

Although specific training will be provided in 48 Flavours processes, we are looking for the following:

- Be physically fit and well presented.
- Commercial kitchen experience.
- Attention to detail - you must be able to demonstrate that you can follow exact recipes, processes and procedures at all times.
- Commitment - we are looking for a long-term gelato maker.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
- Passion for quality.
- Able to work a seven day rotating roster, especially during peak holiday seasons.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $21.64 - $37.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
