**Client Overview**:
WA owned and operated crane hire company, with a 25 year history servicing many of the states leading gold and iron ore miners.

With several operating locations across WA, they have strategically placed themselves to be close to their customer groups

With an expansive fleet, ranging from a 15T Franna to a 500T Liebherr, backed by a team of 200+ highly skilled crane and rigging professionals, this client sets the standard when it comes to safety, customer service, and solving the most complex crane and rigging challenges.

**Position - HSEQT Lead**:
Reporting to the GM, you will steer the strategic direction of the companies HSEQT activities.
- Ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 accreditations are adhered to and maintained.
- Review and update policies and procedures to ensure currency.
- Drive the safety culture internally, ensuring a relatable approach is adopted.
- Combine your expertise in up to date legislation, as well as delivering safety through an operational lens.
- Manage any injuries and incidents, ensuring effective injury management and RTW programs are implemented.
- Undertake appropriate level of site visits to build strong relationships with site based teams.
- Promote continuous improvement, consistently aiming for zero incidents.

**Position Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in HSE and expert knowledge of current legislation.
- Cert IV in training and assessing advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience working in contract mining services and/or high risk work environments.
- A natural leader with the ability to teach best practices, including safety when rigging and operating a crane.
- Demonstrated experience implementing innovative practices and procedures that drive organizational improvements and behavior's.
