**Job scope**:
We are currently recruiting for a Tax Advisor for the APAC region. In this role the Tax Advisor will support the Head of Regional Tax in complying with all applicable tax laws in the region, partnering up with the business by providing timely and accurate tax advice, as well as enforcing tax governance and controls and adherence to Group Tax Policies. This role is also responsible for accurate and timely Australian tax reporting and compliance with AASB112.

**How will you help us achieve this**:

- Running the day-to-day Australian Tax Compliance Arm of FLS.
- Prepare or review consolidated corporate income tax returns, including any supporting schedules and work papers.
- Prepare or review any indirect tax returns such as BAS, FBT, and withholding taxes.
- Research and draft complex tax advice across the Australian FLS business.
- Foster collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to handle tax inquiries effectively.
- Assist with the development and execution of suitable tax policies and procedures for the region, with an emphasis on tax corporate governance.
- Regularly assess the existing tax systems, processes, and controls used to ensure they align with established tax policies and governance framework.

**What you bring**:

- CA or CPA-qualified individual with a minimum of 5 years of Australian tax experience
- Experienced in dealing with the ATO Combined Assurance Reviews
- An understanding of the complexities faced working within a global organization
- Attention to detail
- High computer literacy, proficiency with Excel, and comfortable with utilizing various tax software
- The ability to work in a structured manner to meet tight deadlines
- The ability to work independently
- Communicate confidently with various internal and external; global and local stakeholders
- Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes

Pay: $117,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
