Book Keeper

Australian owned freight forwarder located in the Hills District is seeking an experienced book keeper / accounts manager to assist in the high end reporting & commercially orientated accounts related management as well as oversee the company's daily accounts related requirements.

This is a great permanent part time opportunity for someone that is looking for 3-4 days per week and/or between school dropoff/pick up.

**About the role**:

- Preparation of monthly financial accounts
- Monthly reporting of budget performance and ongoing cash-flow forecasting
- Expenditure analysis and identification of cost saving measures where appropriate
- Full suite of accounts receivable, accounts payable, daily bank reconciliations, credit control etc
- Compliance reporting & payments (but not limited to) payroll tax, income tax, GST and FBT etc

**The successful applicant should possess**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Prior experience in a similar role in the freight forwarding industry
- CargoWise experience essential
- High-level attention to detail
- Customer service focus
- Proactive team player with initiative
- Ability to independently own and problem solve tasks
