**About the Role**
We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a part time basis. The position is based at our support office located in Bentleigh and there may be occasional travel to one of our 11 homes as required.
You will be responsible for providing support and coaching to managers with regards to EBA interpretation, performance management, processes policies and legislative requirement, employee and industrial relations advice, workplace health and safety, training and development, recruitment and retention and other areas of HR as required.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide timely advice to managers on HR issues including but not limited to performance, misconduct, conflict resolution, recruitment, on-boarding, retention, training, and development
- Supporting managers with processes such as performance management, consultation, disciplinary and termination
- Provide EBA interpretation
- Provide advice on policies and procedures to managers (DONs) and employees
- HR metrics and reporting
- Managing wage subsidies
- Supporting HR team members
- Training staff on systems (Riteq and Preceda)
- Other HR duties as required
**Skills and Requirements**
- Degree in Human Resources or other relevant qualifications
- Experience with EBA/ Award/ Employment Law interpretation
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and coaching business leaders
- Managing stakeholder relationships and coaching business leaders
- Previous ER/IR experience
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (MS Office, HRIS/payroll systems)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Data analytics and reporting
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise
- Excellent organisation skills
- Advanced problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Current police check or willing to obtain
