**The Opportunity: - Part time 3 days a week**

We are seeking a proactive, commercially driven Accounts Payable officer with the combination of talent, energy and a commitment to excellence, to join our Finance team based in our luxury Melbourne office.

**You will**:

- Developing and maintaining relationships with key Stakeholders, external suppliers, Team Administrators, Senior Team Administrators and the Finance team.
- Ensuring policies and procedures within Accounts Payable are updated and adhered to (implementation of new policies as required);
- Ensuring all Accounts Payable enquiries, both internal and external, are dealt with in a timely manner and ensuring related requests for assistance are handled promptly.
- Coding and facilitating all data entry of creditors invoices.
- Facilitate processing of payments (both creditor and employee expense) in consultation with the Financial Accounting & Control Manager.
- Recommending and leading system changes pertaining to the Accounts Payable function.

**About You**:
If you are passionate about numbers, attention to detail and enjoy meeting deadlines and looking to continue your career within a collaborative finance team with the following skills, attributes and experience than apply:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts Payable role in a similar sized business
- Minimum 3 years prior experience is preferred
- Experience dealing with confidential organisational information
- Advanced skills using a computerized accounting package (MYOB or similar)
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Uses expertise to proactively contribute to system/process improvements of the company finance, payroll and practice management systems.
