**About the role**:
**Hours**: Sat and Sunday: 0800-17:00 from ASAP until 30/06/2025
The Stroke Weekend Discharge HMO plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe discharge of stroke patients from the ward during weekends. This position involves close collaboration with the nurse in charge to prioritise and execute discharge tasks, as well as conducting thorough assessments and reviews to determine patient readiness for discharge. After completing discharge-related duties, the HMO will provide additional support to the Stroke Team with general ward responsibilities.
**Reports to**:Weekend Stroke Consultant/Registrar
Due to the immediate and short term nature of the position, only applicants with current general medical registration with AHPRA will be considered.
