**Team Leader - Disability Support | Your Support Healthcare**

We seek a **highly motivated and experienced Team Leader** to oversee disability support accommodation service in **Lurnea & Minto**. This leadership role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the sector while supporting and mentoring a team of support workers.

**About the Role**

As a **Team Leader**, you will ensure high-quality service delivery while leading and managing a team of disability support workers. You will oversee client support plans, maintain compliance with NDIS regulations, and drive continuous improvement in service standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of disability support workers.
- Ensure the effective implementation of individualized client support plans.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, families, support coordinators, and stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee rostering, ensuring adequate shift coverage and team performance.
- Conduct regular staff training, performance evaluations, and support meetings.
- Identify and resolve service delivery issues proactively and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and incident reports in line with compliance requirements.
- Participate in a rotating On-Call Roster

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in social work, Community Services, Disability Studies, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum **2 years of experience in disability support, aged care, or community services.**:

- Proven **leadership or supervisory experience** within the disability sector.
- Strong understanding of **NDIS regulations, compliance, and best practices.**:

- Experience in managing challenging behaviors and implementing restrictive practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Current **First Aid & CPR certification.**:

- Valid **Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.**:

- **NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check** (or willingness to obtain).
