**About Blue Tongue Adventure**

At Blue Tongue Adventure, we are all about fun, learning, and building relationships and social skills for young people with disabilities. Our programs are designed by young people, for young people, offering a wide range of exciting and engaging activities to promote confidence and personal growth. From sports and outdoor adventures to art workshops, culinary experiences, and woodwork skills, no two days are ever the same with the Blue Tongue crew.

**This exciting role**

We are recruiting for a Disability Support Worker position in our Blue Tongue Day program in Brisbane. Blue Tongue Adventure’s programs are full of variety, energy and fun No two days are the same, so we’ve got to be ready to go where the adventures take us, and grab EVERY opportunity to learn and grow. Available shifts are from Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**
- Taking care of high needs clients
- Physically capable of hoisting and manual handling
- Provision of personal care and light domestic duties
- Complete job tasks in accordance with participant plans in a timely manner
- Write and maintain accurate written records and documentation

**About You**
- Certificate III or IV in Disability or similar industry qualifications
- Own reliable transport
- National Police Check, Yellow Card and Blue Card
- Manual Handling and Hoisting experience
- A strong work ethic, a positive outlook and the ability to remain calm and professional while under pressure

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $31.60 - $41.53 per hour
