**Your new role**:
This is a key role within our Aircraft, Training and Sustainment program, assisting state-of-the-art fast jet training capability for Australia's future fast jet aircrew. As a Maintenance Co-ordinator, you will support the Hawk Lead-In Fighter (LIF) program that has been designed with future technologies to reflect the evolving training requirements of frontline combat aircraft.

You will be responsible for the day to day coordination of maintenance activities to most effectively meet delivery requirements. The position is responsible for coordination of all aspects of the maintenance flow of Aircraft and Aeronautical Product.

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager (SMM) you will be responsible for:

- Co-Ordinate, plan and facilitate Maintenance to ensure the success of LIF Contract deliverables, both internal and external.
- Perform the “delegated” duties under the Authority of the SMM, in accordance with the regulations and guidance detailed DASA Regulations, and Hawk 127 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Management of Maintenance including co-ordination of Non Conformance Reports and Dispositions (NCRD), Defect reports and other engineering reporting requirements ensuring timely resolution of issues to ensure maintenance schedules.
- Sound understanding of Computer based maintenance management tools. (Ultramain, Computer Aided Maintenance Management CAMM).
- Ensure personnel are adequately trained and authorised in order to perform their role in delivery of airworthy aeronautical product.
- Partner with Team Leaders and HR to manage attendance and any performance / behaviour issues of workforce.
- Your role may be expected to work occasional public holidays, weekends, and late shifts as well as support a number of deployments within Australia.

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Demonstrated experience in an Aircraft Maintenance Environment.
- Aeronautical Maintenance Engineering trade qualifications with extensive post trade experience.
- Expertise in an aviation maintenance, supervision, leadership role within a customer focused, support environment.
- Experience in a maintenance coordination and management of Team Leaders in the delivery of capability.
- Ability to lead a team of 30+ personnel.
- Knowledge of ADF Aircraft Maintenance regulations and procedures (Highly Desirable).
- Track record of managing aircraft servicing with success.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and decision making experience.

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
