**What You Will Be Doing**

The Clinical Educator in Mental Health (Early in Career) is an integral member of the education and clinical leadership teams. The clinical educator demonstrates flexibility in supporting all levels of staff across the organisation; with particular focus on education to mitigate risk, advancing clinical practice and developing staff along the novice to expert continuum. The clinical educator works competently within their scope of practice delivering and facilitating education in compliance with evidence-based practice as well as hospital policy and guidelines. This position will participate in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of education services for Peninsula Health.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Qualified Mental Health Nurse who is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Has successfully completed a Master of Mental Health Nursing or equivalent
- Current and extensive experience working within a Mental Health Nursing.
- Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-direction.
